A couple of announcements before I dig in...

Now let's get to the heart of this post. When we hear 'work on the business' it still feels cold and administrative. It doesn't feel meaningful and it often doesn't deliver the kind of impact. We need to work through the business. Navigate through all the tentacles and facets that make the brand a brand.

My consultations and my process working with brands and businesses does just this but I appreciate that you may not be in the place for that. That shouldn't be a reason to not have a process in place for you to routinely reflect on your business and work (and walk) through it.

The Intelligent Brand workbook series is just the first step. I will soon release webinars for you to get more value and these can be found directly on YouTube where I've just passed the 1k mark. Those of us in the content creation space know how challenging that milestone can be. There are a couple of videos I want to flag your interest with. There's the reason why Comms is overlooked and how it shouldn't be, and then there's 'wicked problems' - and how they can't be fixed with a solution.

Not every problem can be fixed in a linear way - you have to manage the ongoing complexity of it. That's what intelligent brands do!
