Introducing Puck's House: Where thinkers and creators retreat and reside
So here's the thing - I've spent years operating in different worlds. Media. Academia. Art. Policy. Communications. And honestly? The most interesting stuff happens in the spaces between these disciplines, not within them. That's why I launched Puck's House.
It's not your typical think tank. It's an institute, sure - but one where we actually make things. Where we don't just theorise about systemic change, we collaborate on research, policy, and creative content that sparks it. Think of it as an interdisciplinary playground for leaders and creators who are tired of siloed thinking and ready to mess around with big ideas.
I've always been a bedroom creative at heart. The kid who couldn't sit still, who needed to paint, dance, write, and think all at once. Now, with 20+ years in the game and a Systems Thinking MSc nearly wrapped up, I'm building the space I wish existed - a place where academics can jam with artists, where policy wonks can learn from choreographers, where we zoom out, get reflexive, and actually create together.
Our creative content arm, Life Vocabulary on YouTube, will capture and share what comes out of these collaborations. Because what's the point of brilliant insights if they stay locked in conference rooms or academic papers? We're making complexity accessible, actionable, and honestly, a bit more fun.
This is about bringing my bricoleur mindset to life on a bigger scale. Using what we have, mixing disciplines, staying curious, and refusing to conform to how things "should" be done.
